Install

Installing your eSIM
Your order page gives you one activation code in three interchangeable forms. They all install the same eSIM — pick whichever is easiest with the devices you have on hand.
Scan the QR code
Open your order page on a laptop or a second phone, then scan it with the phone that will use the eSIM. A phone cannot scan a QR code shown on its own screen, which is why the two options below exist.
Tap the install link
Open your order page on the iPhone itself and tap "Install on this iPhone". iOS hands the code straight to the eSIM installer — no scanning, no typing. Older iPhones will not react to this link; use the manual details instead.
Type it in manually
Every phone lets you enter the eSIM details by hand. Your order page shows exactly the values your phone asks for — copy them across with the copy buttons and nothing can be mistyped.
What the code is made of
An eSIM activation code isn't a password — it's an address plus a one-time ticket. Your phone connects to the address and redeems the ticket to download the plan. Every field below is on your order page with a copy button next to it.
An eSIM can only be installed once. If you delete it from your phone, the code can't be reused — so don't remove the plan until you're finished travelling.

Entering the code by hand
The path differs slightly by manufacturer, but the fields are always the same.
iPhone
- 1Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Service) → Add eSIM
- 2Tap Use QR Code, then Enter Details Manually
- 3Paste the SM-DP+ Address into the first field
- 4Paste the Activation Code into the second field
- 5Leave "Confirmation Code" blank and tap Next
- 6Label the plan, then choose which line is your default for data
Android
- 1Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add eSIM
- 2Tap Need help? or Enter it manually when the scanner opens
- 3Paste the full activation string (the LPA: line)
- 4If asked for two separate fields, use the SM-DP+ address and activation code
- 5Confirm the download and wait for the profile to install
- 6Turn on the new line and enable Data Roaming for it
On Samsung the path is Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM. On Pixel it's Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Download a SIM instead. Install over Wi-Fi before you leave — the profile download needs a connection, and your plan's validity only starts once the eSIM first connects at your destination.

Get the most out of your eSIM
Install before you fly

Use your regular SIM for calls and texts. Set the eSIM as your data line for internet abroad.
Enable data roaming
Don't forget to turn on data roaming for your eSIM line. This is required for it to work abroad.
